The Petit Couture Story
Rebecca Kaykas-Wolff and Noree Milligan, two neighbors and friends, discovered on a play date with their daughters Sofie and Sofia that they shared many similarities (same house, same fashion sense, same views, etc.). Another shared idea was that of starting an infant and toddler clothing line. After a few more play dates they discovered their ideas also shared the same name! Rebecca had owned the business license for Petit Couture for several years and Noree had purchased the domain name. Kismet. Petit Couture was officially born in 2009. Today, Noree continues to spend many a play date at their former neighborhood park with her daughters and continues to be involved with Petit Couture in an advisory capacity. Rebecca fully owns and operates Petit Couture out of Portland, Oregon. Rebecca is a member of the Oregon Entrepreneurs Network and Mamapreneurs, Inc.. She has a 15+ year background in digital marketing and communications with senior management roles with companies such as T-Mobile, HL2, Safeco/Liberty Mutual and Microsoft Corporation.
